Ten Reasons Why You Should Read The War of Six Crowns

So, I’ve been around to plenty of blogs recently, so you might have seen The Vanished Knight’s cover, read the blurb, and thought that you might want to read it. And if you’re on the fence about whether you should buy my book, you might want to read this list on why The War of Six Crowns is awesome.

1. It’s a portal fantasy with a difference. The doors go both ways in real time. And they never go away.
2. The Nordians. If you read my book, you’ll get what I mean.
3. Although the book’s written for the YA audience, it doesn’t underestimate the reader’s intelligence. I wrote it, assuming that the reader would be able to keep up.
4. I created all my characters and countries to be complex.
5. Everything that’s happening in the book and series has a good reason. Mostly, it’s because someone’s pulling the strings, but otherwise everything has a history.
6. The series isn’t called War of Six Crowns for no reason. The war’s coming, init’s just a matter of how and when.
7. The main characters aren’t saving the world because they’re the chosen ones. They’re doing the best they can with what they have because they chose to step up.
8. The sequel’s out next year. And it’s good. Do you really want the added pressure of reading two books in quick succession? Because trust me, you won’t be able to put them down.
9. The characters from earth all have very good reasons why they’re in the other world.
10. I wrote it. ;-)

About the Book:

Since the death of her parents, Callan Blair has been shunted from one foster family to another, her dangerous secret forcing the move each time. Her latest foster family quickly ships her off to an exclusive boarding school in the Cumbrian countryside.
