2 Cover Reveals!

It's a big day for cover reveals! Two of my friends, Elizabeth Arroyo and Victoria H. Smith, have chosen to show off their stunning covers today. Isn't that great?

First up, my lovely pub sister Elizabeth!

Ta da!

Title: The Second Sign
Author: Elizabeth Arroyo
Publisher: Sapphire Star Publishing
Category: Young Adult
Genre: Dark Fantasy/ Paranormal Romance
Release Date: February 07, 2013

  Synopsis:

Bred to believe in the war between angels and demons, Gabby has come to the conclusion that love is responsible for war, jealousy, and all the other deadly sins she can think of. So when she’s exiled to the middle of nowhere for getting kicked out of her fifth school for fighting, she doesn't expect to meet Jake. Much less fall in love. But Jake is quickly drawn to the eerie beauty of her violet eyes while Gabby is unsettled by their undeniable connection.

When a demon guardian comes to collect her soul, she refuses to give it up. She’s not a demon. She can’t be. Her father and twin brother are angels. The demon gives Gabby twenty-four hours to decide her allegiance, and then starts killing her short list of friends, leaving a message behind: She is the Second Sign.

As Gabby and Jake begin to unravel the mystery behind the Second Sign, she learns Jake may be the key to saving her soul. But it means a sacrifice has to be made that will change their lives forever.

Now for Victoria!

Title: The Crimson Hunt (Eldaen Light Chronicles, #1)
Author: Victoria H. Smith
Publisher: Self
Category: New Adult
Genre: Science Fiction Romance
Release Date: November 12, 2012

  Synopsis:

College junior Ariel Richmond is working on year three of Project Normalcy.

Her house reeks of keggers past and her bestie is just a slight bit vulgar. But the thing is—they both aid in making life refreshingly uneventful.

So much for hard-earned mediocrity when Luca Grinaldi appears on the scene.

Luca’s sudden presence on campus is hard to ignore. Those bright eyes act like a beacon to unsuspecting females, and with features like his, he’s got to be moonlighting for GQ. Luca hopelessly captivates Ariel with his confidence and charisma, but the mysteries surrounding him make him nearly untouchable. And just when Ariel grows close enough to unlock his secrets, a tragic event sends her life in a downward spiral.

That steady life is no longer an option and allies quickly become scarce. The mysterious Luca seems to be the only one willing to help her—but with that trust comes the burden of his secrets. He has a dark mission of otherworldly proportions, and is willing to sacrifice as many lives as it takes to see it completed.

Gone are the days of simply maintaining normalcy, and if Ariel isn’t cautious with her trust, so soon may be her future.

  1. Eye-catching colors and very pull-you-in synopsises or synopsi?

    1. I think the plural form is synopses, but it doesn't matter. It's like octopi. It just looks silly! ;)

      Thanks for stopping by, Gail!

  4. Think of what young adult covers looked like fifteen years ago. There just was not art on this level back then. And the science fiction romance is intriguing -- more authors are trying to meld together those genres.

  5. Very nice! While I like them both, I really dig the colors of Crimson Hunt. I mean, violet isn't what you imagine when you think of crimson, so I'm already intrigued. Awesome reveals, Elizabeth and Victoria! :)

    1. Yeah, it reminded me of those tests that ask you to read the color and not the word. (Like this one!) Very cool. :)
