Oh, My Hero!

This week I'm participating in a blog hop hosted by two of my NA ('new adult') sisters, Jaycee DeLorenzo and Victoria Smith. The instructions were simple: "On April 27th, post a picture of your hero with a character interview that has at least 5 questions." Shiny! I can do that. :)

Some of you will remember Wallace from Casting Call...

He's the deeply conflicted hero of my paranormal romance, Strength, and for the purposes of this 'hop, I gave him a worksheet:

Aww, gotta love him. :) So, what about you guys?

What's the hero in your latest book like?

Have a great weekend!

P.S. If you're looking for my interview with Cindy Hogan, you can find it here. :)
[Note] I purchased a Fotolia license for this image. (And if I end up going the self-pub route, you better believe you'll see it again. Rowr!) Anyway, I'd advise against reposting it. We want to be respectful of the photographer and model. Oh, and I'm pretty sure it's illegal. That is all.:)

Ah! How swoon worthy! He's so tortured and sexy his heroine is probably completely overwhelmed with his deliciousness! And I love how you did your questions. Very original :D. Thanks for joining the hop Carrie!

What a creative way to interview. I loved it.

Love is something you forge together. Not something you think you feel--that's a terrific line. And I like how you did the interview, great idea.

I love Wallace! And how creative the way you did this. I love seeing guy's handwriting. :)

Donna K. Weaver said...

This is wonderful. I love the handwriting, especially the scribbled out stuff. That gets such fun insight into the characters.

Loved, loved, loved the worksheet! So fun and it gave us an even more personal look at Wallace. Oh yeah, and the photo? Seriously hot!

Oooh, is THAT what Wallace looks like? Wish I had that pic before I read Strength. Yowza!

I guess I'm the only guy courageous enough (or silly enough) to comment! Anywayzzzzzuh! I love the answer to the last question "I'd tell her everything." This line is so telling of a person's character that it blows me away if a woman wouldn't like a guy like that. Okay, now I'll shut up. LOL ;)

I like how you did the write in answer. Very cool... and, of course, there's nothing wrong with the really ripped guy sans shirt! :)

Aldrea Alien said...

Oh, I love the answers. ^_^

Summer Lane said...

Omg, that answer worksheet was amazingly clever. I loved, loved it!!!! :) He sounds dreamy.

Love the worksheet! He sounds and looks swoonworthy. Wonder what he has to tell her. :D

Thanks for participating!

Wallace Blake.. I like the name! I thought it was very creative how you created the interview as a questionnaire that he filled out. Awww.. not matter what he does he ends up hurting people..I thought it was great how he crossed out some answers ;) Very nicely done!

Golden Eagle said...

He sounds like a great character. :D

The hero in the last book I finished was the highly introverted, quiet type. (Looking back on it, I put a lot of my own personality into him . . .)

Unknown said...

Awwwww! I love that last answer: I'd tell her everything.

Okay, random question: what is the font you used for his handwriting? I like! And how did you do the crossing out thing? (Which was a nice touch, btw ;-) )

Carrie Butler said...

Who could blame you? It's fun getting to know introverted heroes. :) Thanks, Eagle!

Carrie Butler said...

Thanks, Rachel! The font is called Snake. As for the crossed out entries, that was done in Photoshop. (The whole worksheet was an image.) ;)

Unknown said...

Thanks for sharing the font name!

Carrie Butler said...

No problem! :)

Joylene Nowell Butler said...

I'm late. I love this! What a great idea. You have the most adventurous friends, Carrie. I like Snake. You are so smart! Must run in the family.

Lisa Regan said...

Well you know I heart Wallace big time! Great post!!!!

Carrie Butler said...

Thanks, Joylene! Well, I can't argue with the family thing... *Grins*

Thanks, Lisa! Wallace hearts you, too! :D
