[Breaking It Down] New blog feature!

There's a new feature coming to SYAW, my friends! I was listening to webinars this weekend and it occurred to me how beneficial it would be for writers and bloggers to see their work through the eyes of an outsider. They know what they're trying to project, but is it coming across? What are people gleaning from their web presence?

That's where I come in...

For those who sign up, I will dedicate a post (at some point) to a focus of their choosing. Here are some examples:

        • Book cover analysis

        • A summary of you, based on your web presence

        • Website or blog analysis

Sometimes I'll write up my thoughts; other times, I may narrate some screencapped digging. You never know! The point is, you'll get free feedback, and the rest of us will learn from having an unbiased party assess your work/brand. :)

Question(s) of the Week
Good idea? Bad idea?
Is there anything you'd like me to break down that's not on the list?

Have a great week! ♥

Note: By submitting your information via this form, you're consenting to a public analysis of your chosen subject matter. The feedback will not be expert opinion—though, I do have a marketing and design background. Instead, I prefer to think of it as lending an outside perspective. You may get some of my professional side, but for the most part you'll be getting something even better: a glimpse into the mind of an unbiased reader. If you'd like to back out after your submission has gone through, please e-mail me at soyoureawriter(at)gmail(dot)com. :)

Sounds interesting, though I'm immediately nervous about a summary of me based on my supposed web presence would be. O_o Since my blog's mostly all about writing, it would seem kind of... I don't know, limited?

Brilliant idea! And so good of you to offer this feature. It's taken me a while to pluck up the courage to sign up, but nothing ventured... :)
