► In case you missed it, I'm having a pay-it-forward blogfest/ebook compilation the week of May 19th ("How I Found the Write Path"), and I'd love to have your help! Here are the details.
Side note: Thank you so much to those of you who have gotten me your letters early and/or spread the word! I really appreciate it.
►Something funny for your Monday:
► Two of my friends/beta readers/former pubmates had books go live this month—using covers I designed for them—as their first indie works! Be sure to check them out. I highly recommend their work. :D
(Click the covers to be taken to their Amazon page.)
► If I'm slow to answer this week, it's because I just adopted a shelter pup! I get to pick him up tomorrow, and I'm so excited. He's a Golden Retriever mix and only three months old. More photos to come!

Question of the Week:
How was your weekend?

Golden retrievers are great dogs!
Soon as the Challenge ends, I will get my piece to you.
Aww. What a cutie! This weekend I was at Storymakers and got to see so many writer buddies. So fun!
I had a nice weekend. But it's Monday and I'm stressing over how I'll get all my work done and more. I think the trick is to work, not stew.
Wow, what awesome covers!
I went to an amazing writing conference where both Orson Scott Card AND Brandon Sanderson were presenters.
Get it to you ahead of time? Oy. Didn't know that. *types furiously*
Great covers! Both of them!
I'm gonna have to come to Ohio just to play with Tucker. :)
Oh, you absolutely don't have to! Tons of people are waiting for the week of May 19th. I just wanted to thank those writers first, before things get crazy. :)
Thank you! :D I think Tucker would like that!
Yay! :) No hurry, Alex. I know April was a HUGE undertaking!
I'm so jealous! From what I saw on my newsfeed this weekend, it must've been a blast. :D
True. Stewing never helps—though, eating stew does. Funny how things like that work... ;)
Thank you, Donna! :D
Wow! I am beyond jealous of you Utahns!
Yoga pants = super powers. Gorgeous covers, and ADORABLE dog. <3 So cute!
Enjoy the pup! We've acquired four in the last year - a handful to say the least - but there's so much love.
I didn't even know Nancy and Lisa had new books! The covers look great!
Congrats on your new puppy. We rescued our puppy last year. I am so very happy to have her with what I've been going through. Hope yours is a sweetie too.
I finally got to see Muppets Most Wanted on Saturday and had a lot of fun. Sadly I caught another flu bug but I'm happy to say I have got another ongoing ghostwriting assignment on the weekend as well. Congrats on the puppy and those nice book covers.
I had a slow relaxing weekend, thanks for asking. Now, its Monday . . .
"I'm not a normal person, and nobody's home . ." Yeah, I totally get that :)

This must be save a pound puppy month as well as A to Z Challenge. You're the second blogger to come to the rescue. Very sweet. You'll have to post pictures of his arrival home.
Nice cover designs, Carrie! And what fun to get a pup.
I found out about the ebook compilation through Denise Covey and PK Hrezo, and I am so excited to contribute to it! I'll be sending you an email soon. :)
They do have super powers! They're part of my favorite writing uniform. ;)
Thank you!
I'm impressed! I can hardly keep track of one. LOL
Thank you, Nick! :)
Hah! That's the part I related most to, as well. ;)
Oh no! I hope you feel better. :(
Thank you. Best of luck on the ghostwriting assignment!!
Aww, I bet. I hope she continues to bring you comfort and joy in the years to come. (After I typed that, I realized it sounded like a Christmas carol—oops!)
Thank you, Natalie!
Oh, wow. It must be something in air!
You bet! I'll try to do that tomorrow. :D
Thank you, Catherine! :D
Oh, wonderful! We're so glad to have you on board, Chrys. :D
