[Guest Post] Christina Lee's Top 10 Book Boyfriends

Today, we have a guest post from my friend and fellow Ohioan... Christina Lee!

I preface this by saying that my list changes all the time because I’m an avid reader. So while a couple of months back my list would have included the names Kellan, Drew, Wallace, Remy, Max, Garrick, Jack, Lucas and Holder, this current list would include:

  1. David from Lick by Kylie Scott
  2. Jet from Jet by Jay Crownover
  3. Caleb from Only Between Us by Mila Ferrera
  4. Trace from Girl With Guitar by Caisey Quinn
  5. Davis from Playing With Her Heart by Lauren Blakely
  6. Reid from Here Without You by Tammara Webber
  7. Adrian from Façade by Nyrae Dawn
  8. Cade from Faking It by Cora Carmack
  9. Cam from Down London Road by Samantha Young
  10. Ben from The Stillness of You by Julie Bale
Go forth and discover these awesome boys. ;-)

I don't know how that underline got in there...

Christina's New Release:
Title: All of You
Author: Christina Lee
Category: New Adult
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Publisher:
Penguin/InterMix

Nursing student Avery Michaels wants nothing to do with dating—she’s perfectly happy single. Privy to too many of her mother’s bad decisions and even worse taste in boyfriends, all Avery can handle is a string of uncomplicated hookups whenever the mood strikes.

When she meets smoking hot tattoo artist Bennett, she wants him—for just one night. But he won’t accept a no-strings-attached arrangement. He lives by a straight-laced code of values based on his own troubled upbringing.

Bennett sees something special in Avery and he wants more from her. Way more. As Avery wrestles with her emotions for Bennett, danger and tragedy force them to open up to each other. And Avery must face the terrifying realization that she wants more from him, too.

So she needs to make a choice—let Bennett go or finally let him in.

About Christina:

Once upon a time, Christina lived in New York City and was a fashion stylist. She spent her days shopping for photo shoots, getting into cabs, eating amazing food, and drinking coffee at her favorite hangouts. Now she lives in her hometown of Cleveland, with her husband and son—her two favorite guys. She’s always been an avid reader—reading was actually her favorite time of day when she taught second and third grade. But it wasn’t until she became a local newspaper columnist that something clicked. She finally realized she could turn her love of words into her dream of writing fiction.

She writes Young Adult and New Adult fiction, and she is represented by Sara Megibow of the Nelson Literary Agency. She also owns a hand-stamped jewelry business called Tags-n-Stones, which requires her to stamp letters and/or words onto pieces of silver. They go hand-in-hand perfectly.

Thanks for stopping by, Christina! :)

Question of the Week: What about you guys? Do you have any book boyfriends/girlfriends?

I LOOOVE Reid from both Good For You and Here With You. I especially love him in HWY. He was soooo sweet and the ending had me in tears.

Kellan Kyle will always be my top book boyfriend.

Congrats Christina. I'm mainly a YA girl myself so most on the boyfriend list flew over my head.

I think you should write a book about a rocker ninja and his wife, as they travel through space. :)

Anytime! I'm so excited about your book. :D

One of those Blogger quirks, I bet... LOL

I suggest a strong dose of Wallace and Bennett to get started. ;)

Oh my, now that's a list! I actually don't crush on the protagonists in books. I allow them to live in my head, but in their own world. The love is there, just not the puppy dog eyes. =)

We had an interesting conversation about "book boyfriends" on FB, and the concept is still alien to me. I mean, I understand what it is - but I just can't relate. I think it all has to do with how differently men and women experience books.

Carrie Butler said...

I think you're spot-on, Jay. Men and women experience books differently. :)

Hey, Michael! :)

Book boyfriends. I love it. One of my favs was Nick in "Moonraker's Bride". It was set in 1905 during the Boxer rebellion in China and went between that country and England. I need to read that again ...

LOL, E.J. It's a very lickable book!
