To celebrate Rachel Morgan's newest release, The Faerie Prince, she's asked us to name our favorite fairy tale prince (or princess). Guess who mine is?
Come on! He's brave, athletic, and streetwise. What's not to love? Plus, he has a pretty great singing voice...
Now that half of you are swooning, let's get back to the main event. ;)
About The Faerie Prince
Guardian trainee Violet Fairdale is just weeks away from one of the most important occasions of her life: graduation. After messing up big time by bringing a human into the fae realm, Vi needs to step up her game and forget about Nate if she hopes to graduate as the top guardian of her year. Everything would be fine if she wasn’t forced to partner with Ryn, her ex-friend, ex-enemy, current ‘sort of friend’. They might be trying to patch up their relationship, but does she really want to spend a week undercover with him for their final assignment? On top of that, the possibly insane Unseelie Prince is still on the loose, free to ‘collect’ as many specially talented faeries as he can find—and Vi is still at the top of his list. Add in faerie queens, enchanted storms, complicated not-just-friends feelings, and a murder within the Guild itself, and graduation is about to become the least of Vi’s problems.

Congrats to Rachel! I still need to read the first volume and must get on to that quick. :)
I like Aladdin too. Plus, he has a great bunch of friends.
I *almost* decided on Aladdin. But then I was between Eric and Adam ... Aw, now I want to watch the movie again (for the 1000th time). Let's see if I can convince the daughter to watch it with me lol
Awww, Aladdin! Swoon ;-) Of all the princes and heroes out there, he's near the top of my list.
Sounds like a fantastic story! Aladdin was a great prince. Plus, he had a good sense of humor and humility. What's not to love?
I love Aladdin! Definitely a great choice.
ALADDIN! I came *this close* to picking Aladdin. He is my Disney hero -- love, love, love!
Great choice with Aladdin. Love the premise of this book--it's a sequel?
"her ex-friend, ex-enemy, current ‘sort of friend’." lol
I think that Prince Harry is cute as a button. Do reality princes count?
*warbles* A whole newwwww worlllddddd, a new fantastic point of view... :D
I thought about singing back-up for EJ, but... Trust me. Y'all don't want to hear me sing. :P
Congratulations, Rachel. :)
Go, Nick, go! ;)
Absolutely! Thanks for stopping by, Mama J. :)
Aladdin is a great choice Carrie!
Who didn't love Alladin? he's so funny!
I don't blame you. Eric is quite the catch. ;)
Hey, if she doesn't, I will! LOL
And with good reason. ;) Congratulations, Rachel!
Exactly! He was the best of both worlds. :)
Yes! :D Thanks for stopping by, Prerna!
There were so many great princes to choose from! I had a couple of close ones, too. :) Thanks for stopping by, Danielle!
Thanks, Donna! :) I believe so. If not, I blame my lack of interaction with the blogosphere this month.
Of course! :)
Yes, we do. KARAOKE TIME!
I'm going to pretend I didn't just sing that out loud...
Thanks, Sheena-kay! :)
Exactly! :D Thanks for stopping by, Adriana!
Oh man, he was a close second for me. Really great pick. I went with Char from Ella Enchanted.
P.S. So true about the singing voice, lol.

Oo, that's a good one! :) And thanks for following, Emilyann!
As a lover of faerie tales, I'm always happy when I see someone spell faerie the "right" way.
My favorite princess has to be Princess Leia. She's strong and confident, yet still vulnerable and womanly. She doesn't need a man to rescue her, but she still needs one to love her... Plus, she makes out with her brother, which means you know she can get her kinky freak on!
Most faerietale princesses are not admirable women. They tend to be rather weak and frail and typically get into trouble because they make some sort of really stupid decision somewhere in the story. Faerietale princesses are frequently idiots sometime near the end of act two.
Kinky Leia...
Oh, Eric. Where would we be without your twisted insight? *grins*
Hey, I'm just shining a light on what everyone thinks but no one says. What does Leia say when Luke reveals he's her brother? "I know. Somehow... I've always known." Oh, realllllly? She always knew, yet she was planting kisses on him left and right? The chick is a kinky freak, man! You know she kept that metal bikini and Han made her wear it all the time.
Great choice! :) I love Aladdin! When my older sister and I were little, we used to spread towels on the floor in the living room as our flying carpets and sing that song! :) I read her book a few weeks ago and I love it! I'm sharing my favorite prince tomorrow. :)
Thanks, Krista! :) And I love that story. How stinkin' creative were you two? :D
