I is for Industry:
- Kristen Lamb's Blog - This woman is brilliant, and the "voice" in her blog posts is second to none.
- Shelf Awareness - I look forward to this e-newsletter every weekday.
- GalleyCat - This site is touted as "The First Word in the Book Publishing Industry".
Where do you go for industry news?

Great links. I can't follow Kristen's blog. I unfollowed at one point because of something she did. But when I decided to give her a second chance, I signed up but nothing comes my way from her blog. Oh well.
You need to read my blog post next week about links and SEOs. I spent over two hours cleaning up a big mess last night because of links that went "bad" since I posted them. Yay for the social media workshop I'm taking. I didn't realize there was a problem until then.
I wasn't familiar with any of these resources - thanks for sharing!
Great links! :)
I like Field Trip Friday's on YA Highway. They spotlight a few things going on that week with publishing and other related news. That and my daily Publisher's Marketplace email that I'm not sure is healthy for me to read, lol.
I stalk two already...now I will add the other!
I'm off to check them out. Why I didn't know about them is a mystery! Thanks, Carrie!
*adds all of these to the favorites folder*
You are awesome for sharing these links :) I think I learn about things from Blogger. I'm usually the last one to be in the know :P

I love Kristen's blog!
Already have GalleyCat. Thanks for the links.
I'll have to check out that newsletter!
Hi, Carrie,
How are you? Man I hate not having Wifi! I miss dropping by daily, but I will catch up every few days.
Hope all is well with you!
Thanks for the amazing links... they are so helpful...
I think I come here for Industry News, or at least for the links to sources. You've been great to connect us with all kinds of help.
I love Kristin Lamb's blog! Voice is especially tough to achieve in blog posts, but, you're right, she nails it!
Great links this month-- thank you for sharing.
I don't follow nearly enough industry sites, so this is a great list for me. Thanks Carrie! :D
Thanks, Stina! I'm curious about what caused you to unfollow her, but I won't pry. (I've unfollowed people for all kinds of reasons!)
Yikes! I'll have to check out that post next week. Thanks for the heads-up!
I've heard of Galley Cat.
I've been following Kristen for a while. She always has great advice.
Loving these links! :)
No problem, Trisha! :)
Thanks, Melissa! :)
Oo, good call, Ilima! :)
I get the PM emails, too, but I rarely read them. Shh...
Hooray for safe stalking! :)
You're very welcome, Joylene! :)
I'm glad to help, Sam! Thanks for sticking it out with me thus far. :)
Me too! Padvertising was one of my favorite posts ever. LOL
Galley Cat rocks! Kristen is the queen of Twitter, I think. (Seriously, she has a crown, pigs to rest her feet on, and everything--couldn't resist a little Alice reference. :)
No problem! :)
It's like having an assistant come brief you every morning. ;)
Hey Michael!
Aside from battling wasps, I'm okay. How are you?
Eek! You're still without WiFi? How much longer will you be there?
You're very welcome! :)
Yes! We get a great sense of her personality. :)
Aww... thank you, Lee! I'm happy to help. :D
I'm not great at keeping on top of industry stuff, so these sound very helpful!
Thanks, Julie. :) No problem!
I'm glad! :) You're very welcome.
They have some pretty informative articles. :)
She does! Thank you, Mark. :)
*Grins* Yes, something like that...
I'm glad! Thanks for stopping by, Nick. :)
