[Linkage] H is for HTML & CSS

Note: My A-Z theme is linkage. Every day (at 7:00 a.m. EST), I'm going to list three helpful industry links per letter, and then I'll ask for suggestions in the comments—that way, we can pool our resources! :)

H is for HTML & CSS:

Do you use HTML and/or CSS?

P.S. Lynn Rush and I are having a Twitter party tonight at 8:00 p.m. EST! Check out the details here. :)

All I know about html is that I use it to put in rafflecopter codes. Yes, that is sad. Guess I really need to follow those links!

Wow! Great links!
(Why hadn't you shared these before, hm?):P

I made a blog button, now to play with some html code. I'm currently clueless, but hopefully not forever:D

I'm an html kind of gal. I'm not good, but I understand it and can do some of my own coding if necessary. Knowing html has saved my you-know-what a lot of times, especially with the way Blogger goes wonky every once in a while. Thanks for the links. I'm making note of them for future reference.

HTML can be fun...but also confusing.

Great links :)

HTML and CSS are important tools to get familiar with. I'll have to take a look at some of those tutorials. Thanks for linking to them. I'm afraid my knowledge is a bit patchy from learning how to do things as I went along. a tutorial could probably fill some gaps.

I'm completely clueless. *cue chirping crickets*

The only think I know about html are the websites I get to.

Great links. I need to brush up on my HTML.

Can I also add http://www.practiceboard.com/ where you can type in some HTML code and it tests it for you.

It helps to know a little about html!

Hey, those Rafflecopter codes are handy! :)

Thanks, Melissa! :) It wasn't because I went searching for two more links right before posting this--I'll tell ya that. *cough*

Experimenting with these blog-ish things can be fun! :D

Same here, Lee! I know bits and pieces. What I don't know, I look up. :)

Carrie Butler said...

Agreed, Mark! Thank you. :)

Patchy! Yes, that's the perfect word. I learned the same way. :)

Then maybe these will be helpful! :D

That's okay. We all have to start somewhere. :)

Carrie Butler said...

Oo, that's a good one. Thanks, Clare!

It certainly does, Captain! :)

I need very specific instructions when it comes to HTML. Not very intuitive with that stuff!

Carrie Butler said...

That's okay. I need very specific instructions for everything. :)

I don't know anything much about CSS, but I did teach myself HTML back in the early 2000s and got quite good at making websites from scratch :)

Carrie Butler said...

That's quite the accomplishment! :D

I've been using basic html since the days of my old Angelfire site. I've picked up the skills from various websites. Beyond basic tagging like bold, italics, horizontal lines, and start and end tags, I've probably most looked up the html coding for all the various colors.

Carrie Butler said...

I used Angelfire, too! That and Geocities. Haha! :)

Carrie Butler said...

Haha! Don't worry. I've been known to do the same. ;)
