Exploring Terms & Counting Days

Hey, guys! I know most of you are still NaNo'ing (*cheers*), so I'll make this quick:

  1. I'm over at NA Alley this week--meaning I'll be doing posts, fielding tweets, answering emails, and moderating #NALitChat. Please feel free to stop by. You are always welcome there. :)

  2. Speaking of NA Alley, I just posted part 2 of the Exploring Terms series. Today, we're tackling what it means to be traditionally published. Dun, dun, dunnn...

  3. Oh, and one more thing. *Takes a deep breath...* 100 days until Strength!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So, how was your weekend? :)

Every time I see people note the days before the release of their books, my stomach knots up.

Hope you had a wonderful holiday.

Yahooooo! Mine comes out in 2 months--are you as excited and SCARED as I am?!

Melodie said...

100 days sounds longer than just over 3 months. Either way, the time will fly by!

Carrie, I think you were the one who blogged about using Excel sheets as part of your writing process. Things became complex in my current project, so I've also started using Excel. Thanks for the tip.

It's on the left sidebar, near the top. Lynn Rush made it! :D

Heck yes. Otherwise, I'd be rocking in the corner, staring at everyone every Monday! LOL

+10 points for alliteration, Empress King! :) And thank you!

And they'll be the 100 shortest days of the year, so the time will seem to go by faster. The wait is almost over!

Carrie Butler said...

I never thought of it that way! :) Thanks, Michael!

Robin said...

100 days! You could make a paper chain of hot guys as you wait for your release date. It would be even more exciting than those month long chains waiting for Christmas. How many days again?

Oh right....

Carrie Butler said...

Robin, you win all of today's awesome points for that idea. :D

Unknown said...

100 days!? Awesome!

Carrie Butler said...

Thanks, Clarissa! :)

Kelley Lynn said...

100 days!!! Eep!

well, a little less now because I've been on a bloggy hiatus for the month of november.

Can't wait!

Carrie Butler said...

Eep, indeed! :) Welcome back, Kelley!

Melissa Sugar said...

How exciting, only a hundred days. Way to go.

Carrie Butler said...

Thank you, Melissa! :)

Donna K. Weaver said...

So did you beat NaNo?

Carrie Butler said...

Afraid not. My month consisted of a death in the family, my nephew in the hospital, a new baby niece, and my computer going kaput.

The odds were not in my favor... this time. :)

Mark Koopmans said...

Er hello...

I noticed one typo... it's not 100 days, it's 93 days.

Ms. Butler. Really. One suggests that one brush up on her mathematical skills.

Carrie Butler said...

You're right, Mark. It has nothing to do with this post being a week old. *sigh* Just please blame me, and not the public school system. They tried their best...
