[Linkage] L is for (Bestseller) Lists

Note: My A-Z theme is linkage. Every day (at 7:00 a.m. EST), I'm going to list three helpful industry links per letter, and then I'll ask for suggestions in the comments—that way, we can pool our resources! :)
L is for (Bestseller) Lists:

Any obsessive list-checkers here?

Not me. I have no reason. I just couldn't think of anything else for this letter. LOL Have a great weekend!

I look at Amazon's list a bit. But I do need to keep up with best sellers more to stay in the know.

I give it a glance-over when it involves friends or NA, but other than that, I typically hear about rankings through social media. *shrug*

(Although, I did pay attention to the "Hot New Releases" list when I was on it for two weeks. Funny how things change your habits. LOL)

It's good to keep current, but I never find my books there. Why is that, do you suppose? :-)

I'm going to try and resist being a list checker and just work on my next book.

Hi, Carrie,

How are you? Hope all is well...

Thanks for the links... I added them to my list. All caught up now!

Have a great weekend!

I like the Amazon one! I have my reasons...
And between the two of us, we have a ton of people hooked on virtual bubble wrap now.

I tend to look at amazon. Though I adore browsing through B & N and it a cover grabs me, I look.

Like Donna said you could probably get a bit obsessed over list-checking. That's not to say it wouldn't be very nice to be up there though!

Because you're already buried by an overwhelming TBR pile? ;)

Carrie Butler said...

Ah, working on the next book... what I should be doing right now... ;)

The writer's dream! :)

Hey Michael,

Oh, not too shabby. Just super busy. How about you, my friend? :)

You too!

Carrie Butler said...

As you should, Captain Bestseller!

Excellent. I mean, there are worse things to be hooked on. Why not? *grins*

Carrie Butler said...

Oo, I love browsing book covers! :D

Carrie Butler said...

Too true! I think we, as writers, have obsessive tendencies anyway... ;)

You betcha! :)

I'm sure if I ever have a book published I will be constantly checking those lists.

No ifs here! ;)

I'd check if I had a snowball's chance in hell to be on those lists. Which I do not.

Carrie Butler said...

Pfft! You underestimate yourself, my friend.

Great links. I'm saving these, too.
Maybe, one day... :)
